There are some house rules of\nthe hostel and some own rules that are supposed to make all visitors of the\nNachtlichtcon feel well. Please read them carefully, as agreeing to these\nrules is a condition for your participation in the Con.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Most of the rules do not come\nfrom concrete incidents, but come from the team’s experience of other\nevents. We reserve the right to exclude visitors from the event if they do\nnot comply with these rules. In case of exclusion there is no right for\ncompensation or refund of the ticket price. For minor violations, we\nreserve the right to make a warning and give the opportunity to leave the event\nindependently. We reserve the right, in case of inappropriate cosplay, to\nask the person in concern to change their costume again before they can enter\nthe event. The decision whether a person disregards the rules is the\nresponsibility of the Nachtlichtcon organisaton team (called \u201corga\u201d or\n\u201corgateam\u201d from here on).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These rules can change at any\ntime before the event. It is therefore necessary to read them again before\nthe visit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Nachtlicht Con is a closed\nprivate event. Tickets can only be bought in advance and are\nlimited. With the purchase of the ticket the rules mentioned here are\napproved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If some rules are unclear, please<\/a> write\nto mail@nachtlichcon.de<\/a> or\nask one of the organizers on the day of the con.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Nachtlich Con is an event\nfor fans of My Little Pony of all ages. The Con should provide a great\ntime for all visitors, regardless of age, gender or limitation. Please\nremember at all times to not shadow someone\u2019s joy of the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n All participants must consider\nwhether their costume, their weapons or accessories are suitable for a\nfamily-friendly event with children. If you are worried that some part of\nyour outfit will cause other people to feel bad or embarrassed, please leave it\nat home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Any kind of real-looking\nweapons or obvious toy weapons are prohibited. Please check if your weapon\nis one of the prohibited items, then please leave it at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We do not want costumes at\nNachtlicht Con that cover: Obscenities, Sexual Actions, Discrimination,\nUniforms and Emblems, or Flags used in the context of crimes against\nhumanity. Metal-studded soles must not be worn as they could damage the\nfloor of the convention room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Body Paint is not\nallowed. Facial painting is permitted as long as it can be ensured that no\npaint soils the furnishings of the convention room or the personal belongings\nof a trader \/ visitor. This also applies to colour or glitter, which can\nbe rubbed off of a cosplay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you feel uncomfortable about\na particular costume, please speak with an orga member.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Anything that is related to My\nlittle Pony may be offered. A maximum of 10 articles may be sold. In\nthis case, an article can also consist of several individual items (must be\ntied together \/ taped together or packed in a bag). Each article gets an\nexact name for later identification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n All items must be listed on the\nprice list provided by Nachtlicht Con, but the item name must be\nunique. The items must be marked with a price tag. Lists and price\ntags can be picked up for free at the event at Bring and Buy. The list\nmust be completed in full so that a withdrawal can be guaranteed. Price\ntags should be placed in such a way that they do not damage the item and do not\ncome loose. An item without a price tag must be excluded from sale until\nthe tag has surfaced or has been replaced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The delivery and collection of\nitems must take place during the opening hours of Bring and Buy. The list\nnumber must be known to pick up items. The sales charge is 10% of the\nrevenue. The money is paid in cash and the receipt is confirmed by a\nsignature. Upon submission, the list and the submitted items are compared. The\nseller must be present, otherwise his sales items will not be accepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Purchased articles are excluded\nfrom exchange and from a complaint. For disappeared \/ stolen goods no\nliability is assumed. The right to pay out the value of the goods does NOT\nexist! We take no responsibility for any adhesive residue or other damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The following articles may not\nbe offered:<\/p>\n\n\n\n The decision as to whether an\narticle may be offered at the event is up to the orga team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The following items are\nunfortunately not allowed to be taken:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Inline skates, roller skates,\nskateboards, scooters, hover boards and other similar vehicles are not allowed\nto be brought to Nachtlicht con. Wheelchairs and electric vehicles for\npeople who are mobily restricted may be used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Anyone taking forbidden items\nto Con will be prompted to leave the Con immediately. Depending on how the\norga decides, the person can come back if they remove the corresponding item\nfrom the Con area. If there is a risk to the safety of visitors to the\nCon, the Orgateam reserves the right to call the police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In certain circumstances,\nvisitors may be allowed to bring items that are prohibited by law. These\nexceptions are agreed with the organization. Seeing someone bringing a\nprohibited item does not excuse someone else to bring something prohibited too.\nThis still breaks the rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Photos and videos taken on the\nNachtlicht Con are for personal, non-commercial use unless otherwise\nagreed. All the rules in this paragraph apply to both photographs and\nvideo recordings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We know that some visitors want\nto document their visit to Con live with photographs or videos. We only\nask you to photograph or film the people who would like to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Please also ask sellers if you\nare allowed to take pictures of their booth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If a visitor wants to see a\npicture that you have made of him, you must show it to him \/ her. If he \/\nshe wants to delete it, delete it. If you’ve made a video, the same\napplies. You may also agree with the person concerned that they will later\nbe cut out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Children may only be\nphotographed with the consent of the parent or guardian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you enter the stage \/\npresentation area in a competition, you have to expect to be photographed or\nfilmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Some moderators of panels or\nworkshops do not want to be filmed or photographed at their events. They\nwill say this at the beginning of their program. Then photos or video\nrecordings are prohibited. If they ask you afterwards to delete photos or\nvideos, then delete them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Photographers of Nachtlicht Con\nwill document the event. The Orgateam reserves the right to publish\npictures or videos to the press. The images can later be used as\nadvertising for this or future events. Advertising can be printed as well\nas online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The press and media can contact<\/a> us\nregarding a visit .<\/p>\n\n\n\n No kind of insult or harassment\nis tolerated on the Nachtlicht con. Anyone who harasses another visitor\nwill be excluded from the event. There is no compensation and no refund of\nthe ticket price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Harassment includes (but is not\nlimited to):<\/p>\n\n\n\n Participants who are asked to\nstop harassment must comply with this directly.
